Recently, Riot announced the first official TFT tournament of season 8 for the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region.

[SEA Round]
There are 5 different servers operating Truth Arena and there are 2 participation directions for SEA players: Vietnam / 4 Other Regions (SG/ID/MY, TH, PH, MW/MO/HK)
[Vietnam Region]
Vietnam Open Qualifier #1 (February 4 ~ February 5)
– Number: 256 players
– Competition Format
+ Day 1: players will be divided into groups of 8 people and each group will compete in 5 rounds.
+ Day 2: players will divide into groups of 8 and each group competes in 5 rounds.
– Top 10 players will advance to SEA Regional Cup #1
Vietnam Open Qualifier #2 (February 11 ~ February 12)
– Number: 256 players (For all players who failed in Open Qualifier #1 and players on the waiting list)
– Competition Format:
+ Day 2: players will divide into groups of 8 and each group competes in 5 rounds.
Top 10 players will advance to SEA Regional Cup #1
SEA Regional Cup #1 (February 17 ~ February 19)
– Number: 32 players
+ Day 1: players will be divided into groups of 8 and each group will compete in 6 rounds.
+ Day 2: players will be divided into groups of 8 people and each group will compete in 6 rounds.
+ Day 3: Checkmate Format – players will compete until the first player reaches 18 points, thereby winning the number 1 position in the round and becoming the SEA Champion
– Total Prize of 10,000 USD + 6 Asian Cup Participation

– Number: 16 players
+ 8 players from the Open Qualifier

[Asian Cup] – March 3 ~ March 5
– Number: 24 players
+ 6 players from China, Korea and Southeast Asia
+ 3 players from Japan and Oceania
+ Day 1: players will be divided into 2 groups of 8 people and each group will compete in 6 rounds.
+ Day 2: players will be divided into 2 groups of 8 people and each group will compete in 6 rounds.
+ Day 3: Checkmate Format – players will compete until the first player reaches 18 points, thereby taking 1st place in the round and becoming the ATS Champion.
Total Prize: 20,000 USD + (Regional Finals seeding for Top 2 in KR / JP / OCE region).
