How did Deku lose One For All?
Deku inherited the powerful One For All ability from All Might – who chose Deku not only for his ability to become a hero but also for his instinct to always save others with a smile, even if it cost him his life.
Deku becomes the ninth person to use this power and throughout the story, he understands more and more about the true meaning of One For All and the great responsibility he bears.
Deku not only met All Might’s expectations but also exceeded them, proving himself to be a carrier of the One For All ideal and standing out in the final story.
Ultimately, he decided to transfer his Quirk to Shigaraki to weaken him, allowing him to see Shigaraki’s past and memories.
Does Deku still keep the One For All flame within him?
Deku lost both arms and the power of One For All, as revealed to Aizawa.
Even without his full powers, Deku still brings the last bit of power with him to confront and defeat All For One, seeking to end the long war and bring peace to the world.
Deku’s future
Currently, Deku has no powers, but the possibility of One For All returning still exists, especially since the Quirk may still exist in Shigaraki.
Depending on how the story progresses, Deku could permanently be without his Quirk.
