It is known that during this trip, the famous CEO will meet young Vietnamese artists and content creators.
Apple began operations in Vietnam more than a decade ago and currently supports more than 200,000 jobs across the country through direct employment, supply chains, and a vibrant iOS app economy.
As part of the company’s commitment to protecting the environment, Apple has partnered with global clean water organization Gravity Water to install advanced rainwater storage systems at schools in Hoa Binh province, northern Vietnam.
In addition to clean water, Apple is also working to bring clean energy to schools in rural Vietnam through the company’s Power for Impact initiative.
Across its supply chain, Apple is creating opportunities for learning and growth, health management, and developing new leadership skills for local communities.
Apple supports students and teachers across the country in STEM education with programming and application development resources in Vietnamese, including Apple’s Swift Playgrounds application and the Everyone Can Program project.
